Solved! - Bricked My Nano RP2040 Connect

Hi Everyone,

So One Day I Decided To Try Out MicroPython And Flashed The Firmware To My Nano RP2040 Connect (NRPC For Short) But Then I Realized I Couldn't Flash Arduino C++ Anymore. So I Used A blink.ino.elf.uf2 File And Flashed It On.

But Now It's Just GONE. I Tried The REC To GND Trick, I Tried Uninstalling It Through Device Manager (That Made It Worse) And...Yeah. I Have No Idea What To Do.

Any Suggestions? I Would Appreciate It If I Get An Answer Fast, Because I Have A Competition Next Week And I'll Need My NRPC For It.

Thanks Y'All!

It Doesn't. The Mass Storage Device Doesn't Open.

Did you do this procedure?

(Alternatively, connect a jumper wire between the REC and GND pins, then press the reset button). This will open RP2040’s mass storage folder on your computer.

I Did, As I Said In The Post

At the risk of stating the obvious, have you tried another USB cable?

You can also try holding down BOOTSEL while plugging into USB.

Using A Different Cable Worked! But I Could Of Sworn It Had Worked Before I Flashed MicroPython, But Anyway, Thank You!

Can happen and evidently your cable did work previously. Been there myself. Cables can fail unexpectedly. Sometimes the power still works but one of he data conductors goes intermittent or fails completely and leaves you wondering what is going on. Glad a new cable worked and your board is OK.
