Looks like it covers a couple of Arduino related things that he did for a thesis, including that.

The code is actually quite well commented; that said, an english translation of the document would prove very useful to understanding how it all works together - Google Translate doesn't seem to cope well with the current structure.

You might try contacting the individual to see if a translation is available (most likely not, but it never hurts to ask) - I did notice that the abstract was in english (along with all the code comments), so he might have a translation available - or might make one available for a price.
