Hello, I want to publish my article about raw Ethernet for STM32. I tried to publish on st.com but I got banned for no reason. I tried to publish on Reddit but I got ServerError message. This message keeps showing up on this site for me permanently. This article is 20 A4 pages long. But it is still raw. I would like someone to edit it. How can I publish this article here? Where can i publish it?
Really?
In any case, can you say in one sentence what advantage your library has over LwIP?
I did not write a library. I wrote an article about using standart HAL library.
I couldn't find a proper code example to work with ETH on STM32 without LwIP. LwIP has a lot of code to work with IP protocol but I found a way to work with ETH (send and receive MAC frames) without this library. This is not a step into the future or an achievement in technology. This is work at a lower level of programming without redundant code. I made an example of a couple ARP packets and answer for PING requests.
The ST_com forum consists of two parts: a forum and a knowledge library. I couldn't figure out how to write to its article library, so I wrote my own article, split into 5 posts in new thread. My messages started getting deleted before I had time to insert pictures. I was banned within an hour.
Hello, I will be happy to read your article. At the moment I need a solution for sending and receiving Ethernet packets on the stm32f429 microcontroller, I am interested in a solution without LwIp. If you do not mind, you can send the article to my email wweraw64@mail.ru , thank you in advance.
Hi can you send the article to me.
davanzo.giovanni.91@gmail.com
Thanks a lot
Hi raw_eth, could you send that to me? hewittalec@gmail.com
Is the article now published?
Yes - LwIP is slow and the socket is not full implemented. In realtime environment, you becomes dropped frames. I use the Stack from Segger and had started with Keil/Arm Stack. Both are quite better that LwIP. Segger Embedded Studio is free for individuals without commercial interests - like studends, hobby bewer or radio amateurs.
Is the article published somewhere? If not can you please share it.
Unless you want to receive spam I suggest that you remove your email address.
