Is there a way to print the current time at the serial monitor without using the RTC module?
you can fetch one if your project has GSM module, or using NTP with ESP module
I only have arduino mega
is it possible without buying extra modules ?

I believe that later versions of the IDE have the option to print a timestamp on each line of the Serial monitor. The time comes from the PC

it all seems all seems hardly worth looking for, particularly since a raft of proper terminal programmes have been using the PC clock to timestamp for years. RealTerm, amongst others, all free.
