Hello everyone. I happy I got my ESP32 WROOM 32 working. I am used to UNO and Mega 2560 where I see digital pins and analog pins. But when I look at a diagram of the 39 pins on the ESP32 I am lost. I finally got the blink project working off in 18 but I don’t want to fry my ESP32. Is there some easy simple documentation that would help a newbie ? Thank you.
Google is your friend - there will be a get started with ESP32 and Arduino.
If you install the core for this ( see above !) , select the board in tools and the examples will then be for this board
Thanks. Done that. I got a diagram showing GPIO VSPI RTV HSPI Etc.
The pins on the board are marked D10 etc on it .
Look at examples …
There is also one in the introductory tutorials on this forum
If this is your first play with Arduino you would have been better off starting with a UNO

Thanks but as I said I am used to UNO and Mega2560. No worries. Just got a reply to one of my comments which explained what I was looking for. We can close this topic.
