Hello all, I am a 12 year old hobbyist and I have been wanting to certify myself as an Arduino developer. However, I cannot take this examination until I am 14. May I know why this age limit exists and how I may be able to take the examination?
Presumably to do with child protection, etc, laws around the world?

it's actually 16... the FAQ states:
you'll have to wait a bit - it's cool to see you are eager to go for it. The important part is to develop skills and have fun with projects.

Looks like the FAQ is out-of-date - from before this "new" Junior Cert was introduced?
As far as I can see -
- The junior cert. age limit is 14.
- The regular cert. age limit is the legal coming of age in your country
Thanks!
I've moved your topic as this seems like a better place for it.
Good luck in learning Arduino and I hope to see some interesting projects from you in future
