Uno R4 minima quartz or not

Hello all.
When I look at the r4 minimim schematics, I see a 16Mhz quartz on it, but this board presentation says it works at 48 Mhz.
So what's true ? Is it really a 16 Mhz quartz on the board ? If yes, does the board really running at 48 Mhz ? Thanks

Thanks @ptillisch I already saw it, and I have just send the schematics there the post

It is common for such processors to have an internal PLL - so that they run internally at a multiple of the external clock frequency.

(I don't know if it's actually the case here; just to note that it is common)

what's that ??

If we suppose it is the case, what is the advantage of doing that ?
Use the internal clock isn't simpliest ?

PLL = Phase-Locked Loop - essentially, a programmable frequency multiplier/divider.

For one thing, it means you don't need high-speed external clocks - where EMC concerns are higher.

Maybe, but they are generally a lot less accurate/stable than crystals.
