Uno robot avoid obstical car ir sensore

HI I'll assembled, and good coded Arduino robot obstacle avoidance, with 2 wheels, shield L293d and ultrasonic sensor hc-sr04. Then add one Ir sensor MH-8, but the code for the IR sensor fails. Some help with the code. Greeting, Daniel
