Updating the Atmega8U2

Hi everyone,
I bought my UNO in the last year. It use Atmega8U2 as usb to serial converter. I read Atmega8U2 firmware can be updated with DFU programmer(flip)
in http://arduino.cc/en/Hacking/DFUProgramming8U2.
At first, I checked the firmware that already loaded on Atmega8U2 as show in the above arduino's link http://arduino.cc/en/Hacking/DFUProgramming8U2 -
"The Arduino Uno and Mega 2560 have been shipping with the updated (rev. 0001) version of the ATmega8U2 firmware since around May, 2011. To check which version of the firmware is on your board, connect it to your computer and follow the directions for your operating system:
Windows: locate the board in the Device Manager (it should be under Ports), right click on it and select "Properties"; in the resulting dialog, click on "driver details" in the "driver" tab. In one the properties, you should the VID, PID, and the revision number. "
When I check ATmega8U2 firmware as shown in above link, I only got "something" as show in the pic with attachment.
I don't have any hardware programmer.
Can I use flip software(with out hardware programmer) for uploading firmware into Atmega82U.
If I can, which file do I need and how to upload that file into Atmega82U.
Please someone explain(if you can) me more clearly because I confused when I read description in the Arduino's Link.

Why do you want to update it? Isn't it working?

No it is work. I want to use my UNO as midi device(piano).
I forgot to add picture with attachment in the first post.
