USB Camera recommendations for Arduino UNO Q (2GB RAM model)

Hello everyone,

I'm starting a new project with the new Arduino UNO Q (2GB RAM version). Since this board incorporates the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ MPU compatible with Debian, I'm looking for a USB camera compatible with this hardware.

I'm interested in implementing real-time computer vision using the Arduino App Lab environment. Does anyone have experience with specific USB cameras that work well with the UNO Q's Linux environment?

I'm primarily looking for UVC-compatible devices, as I assume they will be the easiest to integrate with the Debian environment. Any specific model (wide-angle or high frame rate) tested with this MPU would be very helpful.

I would greatly appreciate any comments or suggestions.

Thanks!

I was happy with this one, just $3

Hi @marianoch. I have verified it works with the Logitech C920.

I also verified it works with a super cheapo generic USB camera with this form factor:

That camera is identified by lsusb as: 1e4e:0102 Cubeternet GL-UPC822 UVC WebCam.

I bought my camera over a decade ago, so it is quite possible that there are significant differences in the hardware of the cameras with the same form factor that are sold today.
