Using a different JVM version than the IDE built-in one

On my Windows XP Arduino-1.8.5 is installed.
It uses JVM version 1.8.0_144 which is found under the installation folder
I'd like to use a different JVM which I installed on Windows.
The aim is to delete the Arduino IDE built-in Java folder to save disk space.

To do that, I've edited the arduino.l4j.ini to include these lines:

-vm
C:\ProgramFiles\Java\zulu8.25.0.3-jdk8.0.153-win_i686\bin\java.exe

but when I start the IDE it said

error Could not create the JVM

How to solve this problem?
