Using Arduino????

Hi...every one I have Q. if I use Arduino as Solar Panel Battery Charge Controller can the Arduino at the same time powered up from it?. And at the time also using +nrf24l01 and soil moister sensor???. I mean can Arduino do all these things in together by using one Arduino board or more???. And is 6V PV enough to power this system?. please help me thanks.

Hi,

it should work OK.

I'm currently running a Nano from a 5.2v power unit that's also powering an output board with four D-type latches and multiple LEDs on the D-type outputs.

It depends on how much current you have coming out of the solar panel...my power unit is 2.5 amps.

Have you got anything to keep the Arduino powered when the sun isn't shining or do you plan on it just shutting down?

Hi.. thanks for the reply actually I think Arduino takes its power from the battery and control the charger at the time, and make "sleep mode" to reduce the consumption. what you think, is that the true way?

Hi,

yes, if it's working then it's good.
