Using dual gang Pot for midi

Hi All Newbie here
If I was to use a dual gang linear slider would I be able to connect the tracks to two inputs on the teensy LC But with one wired in reverse so I could effectively use a dual gang pot to reduce volume in My Monitor speakers as I increased the volume on My microphone i.e open mic = no audio to monitors closed mic Monitor volume normal

Yes, You can do that. Feed the pots with Vcc resp. GND from the controller.

You don't even need a dual pot. You can do the reversing in code:

Not tried programming and arduino yet would the code be easy to find ?
