Trying to make a simple controller to whip up a hack job of a poor mans VR for the xbox Flight Simulator. Now this approach is crude, and i know there are better ways to do it, but as for now, im mainly just experimenting as im probably going to use a more modern approach as many have said here and use the MPU with a magnetometer. I have a QMC5883L and the MPU6050, not sure if theres even any ways to integrate the two. or if its just easier, or even more accurate to use the aformentioned MPU with built in magnetometer.
Basically, i want to control the mouse left and right movements, locked to the yaw axis. ive heard the term gimbal lock, so i dont know if that comes into play here, for now, im just asking for some advice on my idea, if its feasable. or even a good idea, i got it to work a bit, but my code is in the 37 other codes i names simalar things (stupid me, ive now learned my lesson and name then properly) anyways thats it, thanks guys, and sorry if the format and stuff is all wrong, i will learn the ways of the forum, i just wanted to ask quick.
