Using Wifi @ BLE 'at the same time' on the MKR WIFI1010

When will it be possible to use Wifi and BLE 'at the same time' on the MKR WIFI1010.
In this case at the same time means intermittent.

AFAIK not yet.
One or the other but not both concurrently.

Not looked at the ability to do that via a method in a sketch.
But that would bring into play the ability to see a device wanted one or the other methods so I would assume if you could it would be time based eg. 5 minutes BT and 5 minutes WiFi etc.

I need it to remote control a camera and a gimbal. Camera controls with Wifi and the Gimbal controls with BLE. It's not an option to perform with an intermitting period of 5 minutes. I'm already using a Cactus board with Wifi to control the camera. Have to by a BLE module now.

I was only using 5 minutes as an example not as a defined period.

Adding what you are actually using it for gave a great deal more context to your problem although I suspect there is still some detail missing.

OK,
I'll try to explain. I am using a control-grip to control an action-cam that's mounted on a gimbal. The camera is controlled by Wifi-commands, (zoom, focus, iris etc.). -Each camera that can be controlled by Wifi has it's own set of commands.-

The Gimbal is controlled by BLE and also has a set of commands. (pan, tilt etc.)

Both have to be controlled with one hand (the Grip control). Buttons for both devices (camera & gimbal) are situated on this one grip. I am already controlling the Camera with a Cactus micro using it's Wifi capabillities. Now there is this new Arduino that can do both (Wifi & BLE). For the space I have it would be better to have one electronic board then two inside the grip. That's why I was curious if it's possible to send out Wifi and BLE from the MKR1010.

The firmware has gone through two versions in quite quick succession.
The second added the BT useage.
I strongly suspect another version will be along but have no idea of timescale.
You are not the first to ask for dual usage so I would imagine its on the radar.

Am sorry I cant be of much more help than that. :-[

There's one thing I would like to know. Is there a separate Wifi hardware module and a BLE module on the MKR1010 or do Wifi and BLE use the same hardware on the board (they are both 2,4 Ghz)
