Vaccuum robot project

Hey everyone, i am new to arduino and im busy with making a vaccuum cleaning robot. I was thinking of making a robot that roams around the room based on 2 wheels powered by 2 DC motors (DC Gearbox motor – TT motor 3-6 VDC), (a supporting ball caster) motors connected to my L298N and i want to connect an ultrasonic sensor (hc-sr04). I was thinking of using a mosfet to control the fan (BCB1012UH) i am using has 12VDC and connect it to my microcontroller. but i dont know what battery i should use can anyone help me with that? Can someone also tell me if my components match with eachother and if i am missing something? Im practically new to all this so my excuses if i said something really obvious.

That sounds like a great project but considering you are new to Arduino and no clue as to what is in your tool kit I think you will probably sink fairly rapidly. There are a lot of different vacuum robots on the market, take some time and check them out. Also get a copy of the Arduino cookbook and skim it from cover to cover pausing on sections that are peregrinate to your project. I do not want to discourage you but that project will become very involved and complex. First thing get a motor driver that uses MOSFET outputs that L298N will burn about 25% of your battery as heat.

Isn't that a fan blower?

yes i want it to pick up the dust and move it to the dustbag that im going to build inside

could u maybe recommend me any?

So what are the motors that drive the wheels?

DC Gearbox motor – TT motor 3 - 6VDC, I see my wrong i meant put in behind the fan in the text.
