virus detected IDP.ALEXA.53 with avast installing ARDUINO CREATE AGENT

good morning
I can't install arduino create agent because of attached warning message by avast.
File name: ArduinoCreateAgent-1.1-windows-installer-chrome
I'm using windows 10
I've seen that for other types of alexa virus it seems to be a false positive, but I haven't found nothing about alexa.53 and arduino create agent plugin
How can I fix it? thank you in advance

Hello! We are aware of the problem. For now, we have rolled back the release to v1.1.251 on windows.
Next week we will solve the issue. Thanks for reporting this.
Meanwhile, you should be able to complete the getting started procedure

What antivirus, what version of the antivirus, what os, what link? What agent version you tried installing?
Help us understand the problem :smiley:

Hello. My antivirus is McAfee. It doesn't allow to install last version of arduino create agent plugin. I tried with your link, but nothing. Thanks

I am certain that it is a FALSE POSITIVE on the part of Mcafee.

If you want to double check you can always run the file through VIRUSTOTAL which is an exceptionally trusted method to verify the file is clean.

You should also be able to over ride Mcafee once you have done that.

Simply add it to the EXCEPTIONS / EXCUSIONS list in Mcafee or shut down your AV just for that single install.

I just ran it through VT myself and here are the results

Hi. I tried to switch off firewall and antivirus but nothing. Some time the web editor reads my board, other no. I tried to send program with arduino IDE, it works corretly. In my opinion it isn't a plugin problem.
Can i proceed?
