Visual Glitch on Arduino IDE 2.2.1

Hello all, I've recently been having an issue where my Arduino IDE 2.2.1 interface starts rapidly "decaying" around text and icons, basically anything with contrast. The decay is gradual and will go away temporarily when I click on any affected icons or the console. I've tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the IDE, changing my window settings, changing the IDE to light/dark mode, and making it both windowed/fullscreen, to no avail. This glitch isn't affecting anything on my computer besides the IDE, and I haven't been able to find anyone with the same issue online. For reference, I am running this on a Dell XPS 15 9520, with updated graphics drivers. Attached is a screencap of the issue.

Adjust screen refresh rate or method - some refresh only changing pixels. Try another monitor.

Looks like faulty display/graphic card

Why did you post this in the forum section for IDE 1.x?

Maybe because the IDE 2.x section is far away ?

Anyway, moved

Hi @angelsknot. Please add a forum reply here to tell us which operating system you are using (e.g., "Windows")?

I ask because I would like to give you the appropriate instructions for your operating system.

I am not sure if it is the same problem I had, but the following trick helped me on two applications already:

  1. Right click on the application
  2. Select properties
  3. Go to "Target"
  4. Add on the end of the target file "....\Arduino IDE.exe" --disable-gpu
  5. Send me invitation for a coffee
