Want to setup Mpu9250 and Esp 8266 01 together using an Arduino Mega

I have been trying to figure this out for a short period of time. I have been digging, but I figure posting about it would give me the best results. I have been trying to figure out how to have multiple wireless IMU's send values to my computer so I can use it in some sort of program like Maya. I don't know if this is the best way to do it, but it seems there is a whole paper on it.

Why the Mega for one I2C device.

An ESP8266 is more powerful and has more memory on it's own.

Get one with USB chip, like the WeMos D1 mini, or NodeMCU etc., and you can program directly via the USB connector.

ESP8266 and ESP32 seems to have a lot of problems with MPU9250 and MPU6050. Have you good examples that actually works? I don't have any.
