What does the Ted light mean on the pro mini

I am usi g the pro mini. I can download or upload a program but I dont know or can fi d what the red light means toward the ce ter of the board. Can so.eo w please explain what that red light means?

You mean a genuine Pro Mini?

It is the power pilot light. Often a nuisance; too bright and annoying. If so, just black it out with a “Texta” marker.

Standard Arduino boards generally have two LEDs.

One is a power light. It will be on whenever power is supplied to the board (unless you've removed it - which one might do if running on batteries, since it uses about as much power as the rest of the board combined).

The other one is the one connected to pin 13. The bootloader blinks this LED during startup (I think one slow-ish blink on the pro mini; three fast-blinks on the Uno), other than that, it will be on when the sketch sets pin 13 as output and writes it HIGH.

You could start by getting a new keyboard where the "n" works.
