Thanks for the reply.

  1. I open a sketch file SR04 in the Elegoo folder. I created a Temp folder on desktop.

  2. I save SR04 into the Temp folder. When I look into the folder, I see a new folder "SR04" that I did not create. Inside the folder, I see my SR04 sketch file I created.

  3. I click the SR04 sketch file in the Temp folder to open it. It is the right one.

  4. I change something in the program, then I got to file/save. Then I close the program. It should be saved in the Temp folder.

  5. I go to the Temp folder and click the file to open it. The changes I made does not show up, it's still the original file. The change was LOST.

It is funny after I did file/save, I tried closing the program, it still ask me whether I want to save or don't save. I tried both ways, it did NOT update the program. It's lost.

I went back and check the original sketch file in the Elegoo folder to see whether it got changed of not. It's NOT changed either. So the work that I did is lost.

Another thing is it always create a folder of the same name as sketch file and saved into it where I did not ask for it. Like when I save in Temp, it will create folder SR04. The sketch file will be inside the SR04 folder, not directly in Temp.
