A friend and I are trying to build a sumo bot for a competition we entered. We know next to nothing, but we want to learn.
We have an arduino brain, a solderless breadboard, various batteries, motors, and sensors, and no idea where to start. We have tried Youtube searches, but have only found results about NXT robots. Can anyone direct us to something that could help?

Unless you're planning to build the chassis from scratch, you might like to look at Pololu's Zumo, which is a mini-sumo.
