Why is Arduino pushing AI?

" Arduino Cloud AI Assistant: Smarter coding, right where you need it"

I'm not trying to start a flame war about AI, but do think that with all the hate for AI and its code bugs, promoting AI on an educational platform is a bad idea. Does Arduino really think that just because its AI is trained on the ecosystem, that it's flawless and can simply replace tried and true teaching and learning?

Obviously, it is up to Arduino to decide what Arduino is "for", education is one of it's stated purposes. But they can interpret that how they like.

AI is here to stay, use it or don't use it, but trying to police who uses it is futile.

Someone hate, someone love. And human makes bugs as well. It's important step in evolution, it would be silly to deny AI.
I personally tried AI twice for certain type of problem and the result was ridiculous hallucination. I'll try again after some time.

What is Arduino ?
You wrote like Arduino were a commercial company.
So far I have believed Arduino is a kind of community driven environment.

Yes of course, Arduino is a commercial company.

I remember a time, about a year ago, that they (the company) were asking for volunteers to test a new Arduino AI feature. I guess this is the result of that process.

I confirm that the call for beta testers was for the Arduino AI Assistant feature that is now publicly available.
