Wireless bike speedo

I’m looking to build a speedometer into an old housing ( for vintage car) .
I’m ok with the speedo head part , but rather than re invent the wheel
Thought of using a wireless push bike speedo transmitter .
Does anyone know the signal format /frequency transmitted by these so I could build a receiver ?

( I already have a home made gps speedo , but want accurate mileometer )

The mileometer accurazy will depend on tyre air pressure, wheel worn or not.
I changed car not long ago. Driving a very well known route the distance changed by some 5%! Which mileometer was the most accurate one? No idea. I would like to try adding integration to the GPS based speedo I've got, and see how well that could be trimmed.

Not bothered about that at the moment - it’s getting a signal from the wheel transmitter , that’s the issue .

I saw that. No use to solve a problem if the lack of accurazy burries the idea.

It’s for a vintage car with hard tyres , so relatively easy to roll the car and see the distance travelled by one revolution , same effectively as all car speedometers .So accuracy to the same standard so be should easy . The car has no mileometer so I want to make one .
Your questions are valid , but will take the reader away from my question

So again .., anyone know the frequency /signal type used on bike type wireless transmitters , so I could make a receiver .

Anyone help with this .. trail gone cold
