I just bought a Latch Push Button Switch (this one). I want the LED light to turn on when you push, but I also want to do something when its pushed (send information to Processing).
With this connection i can get the light to turn on of the switch, but only get a 1 value from Arduino instead of 1 and 0. How can I get the right values when I push?
Any help?

Please draw a schematic of how you've wired your switch, hand-drawn take a celly of it will be fine.
Show how everything is connected.
Post the code you've had some success with.
It isn't yet clear what you are trying to do and how you are failing.

Tying a knot in a wire connection and pushing a stranded wire into Dupont connector is going to work.
