I don't mind as I am not using that version for development just for this specific test under Linux. And copy 'n paste from serial monitor worked with the ANTIQUE version...
The user mentions Windows 10 specifically, but there isn't any indication that the bug is specific to Windows 10. I was not able to reproduce it so it seems it only occurs under specific conditions. Maybe one of your OS environments produces those conditions?
You can determine whether you are being affected by that same bug by checking whether the copy works if you select all but the first character of the Serial Monitor content. The bug report provides some nice instructions for reproducing the bug.
