Xbee recovery firmware devices

Hi
Can I use this usb s2 adapter to recovery my xbee pro 538 firmware? And what devices I need more or only this usb s2 adapter with a uart-to-usb to connect to laptop.

It should work.
Anyway Digi is recommending FTDI based adapter, the one in your link is based on CH340.
