I am currently trying to create a RC plane by using Xbee and Arduinos. I am familiar with coding and using the Arduinos but not that familiar with the Xbee and I should have started with the series 1 but i didn't. I have created the Coordinator AT and Router AT for my Xbees and have used both CoolTerm and XCTU. I am about to communicate between these 2 xbees with both softwares and also using both. Now i am trying to connect them to my arduinos and communicate but I am having no luck. I have shields for both to make sure I have everything connected properly. I have ran through some tutorials and programmed my arduinos but i am still having no luck. Some tutorials the xbee Tx and Rx is declared and some they are not. I assumed they are designated for the Rx and Tx on the Arduinos already.
Any links or advice would be much appreciated.
