Hello everyone,
As part of an Arduino automated bar project, I am looking for 12V pumps that could be suitable for this use. I already tried the fuel pump, but once started, it does not stop (like a tap).
Would any of you have a 12V pump reference that could work? I was thinking maybe a washer fluid pump...

Peristaltic pumps are commonly used for this application. Besides being very precise, positive-displacement pumps, a huge advantage they have is that you can control the material that comes in contact with your fluid, so you can make sure that it is compatible. Many materials will break down in contact with alcohol.
Ok, thank you very much !! Maybe do you have a link to a good peristaltic pump for this use ? Google's results are not really good...

Hi,
If you are mixing drinks for human consumption, you need "food grade" pumps and lines.
Have you written some code JUST for the pump, to prove you are controlling it correctly?
