4dc motor with led, resistor and button

Hello, I'm doing my first school project for Arduino, and I was assigned to do 4DC motor with led, resistor and button. I'm having difficulties about connecting wire because this is my first time and a lot of references I searched on the net is not accurate or not connected to this project. Any suggestions or any advice for the wiring.

So, this project is about when clicking the left button, all left components such as the 2 motor and led (red) will work same goes with the right component.

Please don't mind my ugly wiring, I'm still learning haha.

Be sure to use a separate power supply for the motors, like a 5V phone charger or a 4xAA or 6xAA battery pack.

Using the Arduino 5V output for motors will cause the Arduino to malfunction, and possibly even destroy it. Ignore any tutorial or teacher that tells you otherwise.

Don't forget to connect the grounds, as in this servo example:

You say that "a lot of references I searched on the net is not accurate".

Okay, neither is your wiring diagram.

All of your motors have 1 wire going to them. They will not work.

Explain please, the function of either green wire in the image below.

Also, explain the function of the 10K resistor that is shorted to itself and not connected to anything.

And finally, explain the function of the pushbutton that has no connections whatsoever to it.

And by this point the LEDs with only one connection going to them aren't even worth asking about.

I put the green wire their base on the previous lesson where my prof did with the push button and led lights.

On the motors, I just followed the intruction of my prof where we could use 1 wire with them.

Everything is just a product of "still new, still learning". I'm just basing everything from our lesson. If you're going to give me an advice with an attitude with it might as well just say thank you for pointing my error. Again, I don't have any experience with Arduino and posting my first project about it is just something I want to get a good advice about my wiring and how can I improve it. If you expect me to be as good as you then I'm sorry. I'm just going to do all of them again with the things you said. Thank you.

Will note this, thank you so much.

If you can't take a simple critique and questions from someone who took time out to ask about why you did odd things, you will not go very far.

And I see I'm wasting my time here. Good bye.

Thank you.

Oh, and I already did answer some of your questions. Still, thank you.
