Hi,
I am really new to Arduino and in fact I don't even have one yet. But I am planning on making a 6 axis Robot arm for my first project so I am here to ask you how I should go about my project. And please give me any suggestion if you have any.
So, I decided that Arduino Uno R3 board should be a good fit for my project after some research.
I am planning to order 4 of MG995 Servos and going to use 2 other servos that I already have at my home. I think the two servos that I have are probably weaker in torque than the 995.
After some research I heard that I have to use external power supply for the servos instead of getting it from the Arduino, so what kind of battery, or actually any power supply should I use?
And would there be any diagram that I can find to see all the electronics connection?
By any chance do you have any 3D model that you have found that would fit for this project?
So at the end of this initial project I want it to at least be controllable via switches or something.
But actually I am planning on to connect the Arduino with Raspberry Pi later on so that the robot can operate kind of by itself via software instead of manually moving them via controller. So at the end, I want to apply machine learning software doing both natural language processing through voice and computer vision through camera; so for example I can give a command to pick up a cup or something, then the robot will search the surrounding and pick up the cup by my voice.
I know this sounds kind of a lot for a beginner but I want to at least try
Please leave any suggestions you have!
