This is to save a bunch of handbuild; Ribbon cable crimp connect breadboards with the crimp on the back connecting cable wires to opposite rows of 5 holes on top on the breadboard with a power rail on one side and ground on the other.
So 2 cable wires go out to 1 row on the left and one on the right and the board lays flat on the cable or has feet.
It would enable easy breakout/in of ribbon cable. Could come in many sizes.
Right now I only have the slim versions pre-crimped, known as floppy cable headers. They're fun but need more connections.
So you think maybe a wide contact crimp on ribbon cable connector such as

or
HWS15322

with one row sitting on the power bus rail, and the others sitting in the individual 5-hole rows?
I think liudr was offering something like that as a ready to plug in cable a while back, not sure where you can find it now.
Nothing connected to a rail. Just extra jumper/component connections for each wire.
With a 34 pin cable and 2 headers I can map a 16 pin header into different order on the unused holes of the same connector. The jumpers go on the other connector, which is where extra holes per cable wire would be appreciated. To go to Arduino took me a breadboard. A crimp breadboard would fit using cable for a bus is nice is all. I guess I could crimp more connectors instead, breadboards aren't cheap either.
