A question about an extension cord for the power strip

Hello,

I'm planning to connect six Kali 6-inch monitor speakers to this 6-outlet Belkin power strip, but the cords are too short, so I'm considering using extension cords. I'm wondering if it's safe to connect this extension cord to the Belkin power strip and then plug into the wall outlet. Thank you.

Hi. You have posted in the Arduino forum. Do you know what an Arduino is?

PS. I have been careful not to click on any of your links, and I trust other forum members will be equally sensible.

@PaulRB Yes, I know what an Arduino is, and I'm using it in relation to my question. I'm connecting the Arduino to Max/MSP to output sound to the monitor speakers. I asked here because there are many hardware/electrical experts in this forum.

@PaulRB The above is just a product link. Can you guide me on how to properly ask my question? This is my first time posting a question on the Arduino forum. Thanks

My advice would be to try not to look like you are posting spam or an attempt a phishing. We get many such attempts on this forum. Either relate your question to Arduino in your post, or honestly state up-front that it is not Arduino related but why you are posting here.

In terms of your hardware choices, I'm not the best forum member to help. I am familiar with UK electrical equipment and US equipment is somewhat different.

But I would look for an extension cord that has the same current/power rating as the cable attached to the power outlet strip, or better. In UK, this cable would have 2.5mm² (cross-section area) conductors in the cable.

That doesn't seem like something any model of Arduino, that I know of, could do. Can you elaborate how this is done?
