hello all
attached diagram illustrates interfacing anemometer NRG 40c to Arduino
Iam hope that someone have an alternative circuit or design for interfacing so help me to reduce some electronic component and wire
The anemometer outputs a frequency which is linear with the wind speed which equates to 1.711 mph/Hz. However the output voltage ranges from 80mV p-t-p to approximately 12V p-t-p at 60Hz, which approximates to a wind speed of 100mph. The manufacturer states that the voltage is non-linear with wind speed, so as the wind speed increases so do both the frequency and amplitude, but only the frequency is a linear increase.
this is specification of nrg40c
Pencil and paper works very well to make a schematic diagram. Take a photo of your artwork for posting.
Here is how to read (or draw) a conventional schematic diagram, which has been the world standard method to communicate circuit information for about 100 years:
Below is an example of a zero-crossing detector using an op amp. However, it would probably be destroyed if 12VAC were applied to the input, so a resistor in series with the input is required at the very least.
