Amazon Echo Pop and Arduino integration question

I know there is documentation on integrating Alexa with Arduino.
For the current model of Alexa (Amazon Echo Pop), this same documentation applicable too?

Basically, I have never owned or used an Alexa device.
My goal is to buy Amazon echo pop for controlling electric devices using esp32 dev kit and relays.

So before investing on Alexa, I wanted to take others experience who owned this model.
