Hi guys,
I purchased a Dragino LORA shield for my Arduino Mega.
I'm waiting for this delivery and now I notice that this shield doesn't have the antenna. So, I have to purchase it separately. Searching on the web, I see a lot of typologies of antenna.
Can you suggest to me the type of this Antenna that it's necessary to try LORA communication?
If it could be useful I'm waiting for a Dragino LORA shield for 868MHz as frequency.
In addition to this, after the first tests, I'll need to apply the Arduino + LORA shield into a box and I can't assemble the antenna directly on this box. Basically I'll need to have a sort of extension cable (5 or 10 cm as max) to connect the LORA shield (that will be inside the box) to the external antenna. Is there something like this?
I'm sorry for these (probably) stupid questions but I'm not an expert.
Two options shown in pix on site.
The preferred option to use the antenna connection:
The alternative useful for testing on the bench, etc.
The simple wire does have a specific length. Research it for the frequency of refer to published standards.
