Any way to change IDE 2.0 highlighting colors (or extra themes)?

Hi!

Is it possible to change the syntax highlighting color beyond the "legitimate" File>Preferences>Theme method?

The poor functions and numbers are pretty much white.
Any .config file or something alike? Would really like to custom them by hand

A pretty IDE is like eye candy to me

I'm on Linux launching it from an .AppImage btw.

Hi @kiq33. You might be interested in this information shared by a forum member:

Please note that a bug in the Arduino IDE 2.0.3 release broke support for installing additional themes (whether they are ones you downloaded from the Visual Studio Marketplace or a custom theme you made yourself). That bug has already been fixed, so make sure to update to the latest nightly build if you decide to install additional themes. The nightly build download links are listed here:

That is precisely what I was looking for, thanks a lot. The nightly build bit saved me, using 2.0.4 -nightly-20221217, works fine on .AppImage

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to set up the theme to your liking. That is certainly eye candy!
