Anyone with a working crystal ball?

I have not seen my Due and 101 boards in a long time.
Any clues to their whereabouts will be much appreciated.

They are usually in the last place you look.

By definition they are always in the last place you look

Never got my crystal ball back from the shop.
They say there is a design flaw.

Got a refund and went with beer.
Works much better than the ball.

@jremington @UKHeliBob - My father was one to say "...in the last place you look..." but I demonstrated how that method of thinking was flawed... and I can repeat the proof... after I found my homework (where it was last placed), I then looked for it in the refrigerator as the "last place I looked," and gave him that information. For that, he also looked in the refrigerator and retrieved a beer, then let me watch Saturday Night Live, which was normally later than my bedtime... as a matter of fact, I just, now, looked under my teacup... and no homework (in this last place I looked)! I'll look elsewhere later, and maybe, just maybe, that will be where my homework is in the last place I look.

I have currents in my house. you have to know what current a thing is in. if it's in the low counterclockwise current, look for it below knee height counterclockwise from where you had it last

you find a thing by looking for something else. looking for your copper guitar slide? you won't find it. look for your missing 10 amp circuit breaker to find the guitar slide

about 5 years back I heard my Leatherman Wave fall off my bed, and I knew it was lost and gone forever. it has to be in the bedroom, it has to be under something, I have used metal bars to sweep under every shelf in the room and it remains AWOL.

I can no longer work with the crystal ball, the fiber optic connection is broken.

Had the dog fitted to two crystal balls after his operation.

He looks normal but he makes a clinking sound when he runs.

I reburnt the fuses and now use internal resonator rather than external crystal ball.
I use gut feeling. :grinning:  :grinning:

Tom.. :+1: :coffee: :australia:

Usually someone else was annoyed by it laying around.
That someone else has stored it where it obviously belongs...

If you buy a replacement, the original will show up shortly after the new one arrives.

.. when you go to put the new one away.

However you just looked there before ordering the replacement (several times) and the old one wasnt there.

So where was it during the time it took to deliver the replacement? Spooky.

Here in my house things disappear because we have elves living here.

Your wife is an elve?

And if you ask she who put it there, it's usually, "well, I found it in the laundry, so I put it where it belongs. Empty your ... pockets next time, buddy, or we'll see if it survives the flood!"

So I don't ask anymore.

Maybe    But what to do if I love her.....?

Get a set of sacrificial keys and leave those out as an exchange.

If she is a good elve: keep her!
