Arduino 1.8.15 and Google Drive

I have been storing my sketches on my Google drive.

When I try and save using a different name (yes i know I need to create a folder to match and I do) the IDE refuses to do so and - AND - it deletes my new folder.

Even when I go out to File Explorer and create the new folder there, and then return to the IDE to save into the new folder, the IDE still deletes it.

If I store to a local drive, I go through the steps in "Save As" and create a new folder and then save into that folder using a matching name, it works perfectly.

I'd say this is a Google Drive problem. As it works locally the emulation layer of Google Drive seems to not work in some cases.
