Arduino and 4 wire fan control

So i recently purchased the inventr.io because i was/am super interested in that kind of stuff and i have 0 background in it. I thought it would be a good way to dive into things with some direction. That being said my first side project i'd like to accomplish may be more then i'm ready for hahaha.

I currently have a
Brushless 12v DC 4 wire fan
Hw-039 Relay
Arduino
a bunch of different temp sensors and such
And a 16x2 1602A LCD screen.

What i'd like to accomplish is i want to cool an area i have my PC in since its definitely getting hot with me Xbox and PC in the same space. I'd like the fans to spool up faster as the temp raises and slow as it drops and off at a certain point. I'm having trouble finding videos or documentation thats easy to understand or follow. Can anyone point me in the direction of a good resource? or have any previous projects like this they've worked on that could help me as a starting point or anything really. Wasn't sure exactly where to go with this. The photo is just so you have an idea of what i'm working with incase i described things incorrectly.

Look in the ProjectHub section of Arduino.cc for something close to what you want. It may take two examples or even more to see all the concepts you need.

This Youtube video may help. The 4-wire fan explanation and example starts at 5:50. Review the whole video repeatedly until you understand it.

  • Start with a schematic.
If this is a 12V PC fan here is a starting point.
