Arduino cannot connect IDE

I`ve been trying to connect my Arduino Nano 33 BLE sense to IDE and have found trouble with computers connecting or finding the Arduino though the ports. I have a variety of solutions trying different cables, computers, ports.

I have tried all the solutions in this article and cannot find the Arduino on 2 computers'
The computers are running Windows 10/11

The double tap on the reset normally works for processors like yours that emulate a serial interface on the USB port.

Has your board ever worked?

Can you download just the simple blink example in the IDE?

If your referring to double tapping the restart button on the board I’ve done that before.

The board is brand new and I’ve only just opened it from the box. The issue happened before on a arguing uno I had. After successfully uploading the code to the uno that I could discover something happened and it could not be found which was identical to this problem if that helps.

I havnt tried the blink but the board can’t be found to upload any code I’ve attempted to upload.

Hi @1314ben. Please try this experiment and then report back with the results:

  1. Connect your Arduino board to your computer with the USB cable.
  2. Press and release the reset button on your Arduino board quickly twice.

Now please reply here on the forum thread to tell use whether you see the LED on the board pulsing after you do the double reset.

I double clicked the reset on the arduino and a singular white flash was created from the board
