I asked MONTHS ago on this forum when this year's Arduino Day might be held, and if we could be given more lead time in order to find venues. Well this year's dates were announced a few weeks ago, and no notice was emailed (or at least I didn't get one). And just like last year, it's too late to get a venue at ANY of the public libraries in our county or the neighboring ones. I've put on four of these events since 2017 and am very frustrated that we're blocked out by the short notice we've been given. LAST year's event only happened because a library reopened after renovations and their calendar had been cleared completely. But that library has almost no foot traffic and is on the fringes of the county.
I'd welcome any suggestions on what other kind of venues I should look for.

I'm awaiting acceptance of an Arudino Day event. I wonder if I could start organizing it while waiting. It would sure help to have more notice. Does anyone know if Arduino Day is really happening? Or is it like Arduino Interest Groups (phantom)?
Arduino Day is real, I organized events in 2017, 2018, and 2023. COVID shut down live events for a few years.
I was actually able to find a venue this time, last year ALL county libraries but one were booked up, but this time a bigger and closer branch had their big meeting room available. Signed up for that last week.
