Arduino + El Inverter = Fading El Wire

Hi guys,

I'm trying to figure out how fade El wire.

I am using an Arduino Uno + El Inverter (EL Inverter - 3v - COM-10201 - SparkFun Electronics) + El Wire (EL Wire - Blue 3m - COM-10195 - SparkFun Electronics)

The Inverter has a +/- that go to Arduino 3.3v / GND and two black cables that output the AC current to the El wire.

The El-Inverter requires 3.3v to power the El Wire. This means that I cannot plug it into an Ardruino analog PIN and pulse out the input to fade in/out because the inverter needs 3.3v.

But one of the two wires (or both) on the AC output of the Inverter could be pulsed via Arduino analog port, right? Since the output on that Inverter is suppose to be 110VAC, I don't want to fry my little Arduino by doing something stupid.

Please point me in the right direction :slight_smile:
