Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone else is using MalwareBytes AV and are getting a false positive when starting up the IDE (0023 & V1.0).
Virus reported = exploit.drop.3
I have sent the offending file (temp file created by the IDE) to MalwareBytes folks to see what they think........but I suspect a false positive.
Ian.
Well I use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (PRO) version 1.60.1800 on a Windows XP Pro SP3 and have not seen any problem using IDE 23 and launching but not using much the IDE 1.0
Not sure that is the same program you asked about ( MalwareBytes AV ) ?
Lefty
Coincidentally, I just ran it earlier and got some hits, see below. This is just the free version, no real-time scan, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.60.0.1800. After removing them, it wants a reboot to finish.
Please post what you hear from the vendor.

Hi all,
The folks at MalwareBytes confirm it's a false positive.
PS. I am running the paid version therefore have the real-time scan, thus I got the detection pop-up.
Ian.
Thanks, Ian! Sounds like it should be fixed already.
Hej,
thanks for fixing this for everyone
It is getting harder and harder to develop anything in a small size these days:
- false positives
- whitelisting in email services
- etc etc
You can imagine how beginners will feel when they get these kind of issues.
Thanks again.
