Arduino is too tall

I have been trying for days to find a solution to this, I’m trying to build a small device in a case but the Arduino uno is too tall with all the header pins, and I don’t want to get the nano because it requires a bread board, so it won’t work for the device I’m making. Please can someone help me?

Nano does not require a breadboard. Buy one without the headers soldered in(a clone), solder your wires directly to the pin holes on the Nano. Of course, make sure your code and hardware work first.

Thank you so much, for the help the breadboard thing must have been a rumor I heard online.

For prototyping the Nano (or Mini...) fits on a breadboard.

If you are only using 3 or 4 pins and need something really small this may work for you
