Hello All,
I have been trying to get myt sketches to upload onto the Arduino Mega 2560 using Arduino IDE (1.0.5) running on Ubuntu 12.04 32-bit. Ubuntu is running on a VM (main host is Windows 7). Now, I can get sketches to upload just fine through my native Windows 7 64-bit OS. But when I switch the board over to my VM, I get timeout issues. Here is the upload log

avrdude done. Thank you._
Now I'm switching the board over to the VM correctly so it should look just like a native Ubuntu OS. In the Arduino IDE I am selecting the correct board and Serial port (/dev/ttyACM5). I tried Programming modes AVR ISP and AVRISP mkII. No luck. I keep getting the issue above, and this is when trying to upload the Blink example sketch. Again, works fine on Windows, but need it to work on Linux. I've been searching for a solution the last couple of days but none of which have helped me. ANY help is appreciated. Thank you!
