Arduino Mega & ST7735

Hi,
I used to work with a SSD1306 for a project, but now I want to upgrade the display and use a ST7735.

If I understand correctly, SSD1306 works with I2C and need SDA/SCL on pins 20(SDA) and 21(SCL) th rest was handled by the library.

Now with ST7735, it's SPI that is used. I have a cheap oled display that is labelled with GND, VCC, SCL, SDA, RES, DC, CS, BLK(https://www.amazon.fr/DollaTek-Pouces-80x160-Color-Arduino/dp/B07QCSH5P4)
I wired like this:
display <-> MCU
GND <-> GND
VCC <-> VCC
SCL <-> D21 (SCL)
SDA <-> D20(SDA)
RES <-> Nothing
DC <-> D22
CS <-> D23
BLK <-> D24

I try many thing because it's not well documented.
Like use SDA/SCL next to D13 labelled pin on mega, SDA/SCL pins 20 & 21, I see somewhere D51 and D52 where SCL/SDA pins...
Nothing prints one the screen, the backlight doesn't lit too.

And the code I use:

#include <Adafruit_GFX.h>    // Core graphics library
#include <Adafruit_ST7735.h> // Hardware-specific library for ST7735
#include <Adafruit_ST7789.h> // Hardware-specific library for ST7789
#include <Adafruit_GrayOLED.h>
#include <SPI.h>

Thanks

do you have 4K7 pull-ups on SCL and SDA .

OK...

So what are you mucking about with I2C?
Yes, I get it - the silk screen printing on the display is rather confusing, since it mentions SCL and SDA. However, it definitely does look like it's an SPI interface rather than I2C. So my recommendation would be to try the SPI CLK and MOSI pins on your Arduino to connect with SCL and SDA on the display, respectively. See how that goes.

No, is this required ?

I wired SCL -> D52, SDA->D51, CS->D53 according to this doc: https://europe1.discourse-cdn.com/arduino/original/4X/f/5/8/f58ef08a581bb0fe8e8c2d89e4dd52e508aab80d.jpeg and no improvement

That's too bad; I had good hopes.
Have you tried the other constructor yet that takes 5 arguments?

//Adafruit_ST7735(int8_t cs, int8_t dc, int8_t mosi, int8_t sclk, int8_t rst)
Adafruit_ST7735 tft = Adafruit_ST7735(53, 22, 51, 52, -1);

Tried that with no success

Well, you've got 5 pins to juggle with; have you made a table with the most sensible combinations and tried them systematically? It's a bit of a brute force approach, but I dont have anything better to offer.

I was grounding the BLK to the ground, so the result was the backlight was turned off... lol
Now the backlight is lit. However nothing is printed on screen.
