I believe my Arduino Micro had a short circuit as the Arduino IDE software does not recognize it, neither on my computer nor on another, but the green and blue LEDs still work. I wanted to know if there is a way to repair it?
More likely, you "bricked" the USB port with a bad sketch. You can fix it by uploading a dummy sketch (like the blank sketch), within a few seconds of resetting the board.
If so, you will see the serial port appear for a few seconds every time you plug it in, but disappear after that...
