Arduino Nano 33 BLE Sense REV2 get's hot really fast

hello @ledsyn that's not the case I've made sure not to plug it in to much so it's not going to do anything for now but I'm just wondering if theres a way to cool it down

So the screen of the Oled is getting hot.

Or is it one of the chips on the Oled board that gets hot.

Which chip.
Leo..

not sure I think it is the main chip on the OLED screen because that's where my thumb is getting warmer thanks @Wawa

If the Oled is working ok, then a warm main chip could be normal.
"Hot" is when you can't hold you finger on.
Leo..

okay I'm going to check it out again and see

it sort of feels cold but I know it's hot you know that feeling when it becomes so hot that if begins to feel cold?

Warm is relative, but when you touch the chip and see the serial number of the chip burned into your finger, that's what I call hot.

The main chip could draw 50-100mA, which will generate 1/3watt of heat.
It could be 10-20C or more above ambient from that, which is normal.

Current draw of an oled screen depends on the brightness and number of pixels lit.

Hello @Wawa I've just found out the problem was the fact that GND was connected wrong so I just rewired thx
