I have been using Nano for a little while but when I attach my transparent OLED display it begins to heat up. Is it because the voltage is super high or something else.
Does someone know how to troubleshoot?
thanks

and if I am going to take the blame what is my punishement
In order to troubleshoot, we'd need to see a full schematic of your setup - including power supplies.
Some good, clear photos would also help.
Please read this:
alright
i'll begin making a few schematics and I'll also take some photos
Hi Awneil here's the link to the product but I'm not sure where to put a few of the pins so I don't have any schematics for now can you check it out?:
Show a schematic of how you currently have it connected.
right now I don't have a schematic but I do know that I just connected all the wires other than VCC and GND to digital pins
So draw a schematic of the connections as you have them now.
Post that.
I don't have a schematic software but what I told you above is all you need to know other than the fact that i put the VCC into 3.3V
In post#1 you say that the Nano is getting hot, and in post#2 you say the Oled is getting hot.
So exactly what is getting hot. The Nano or the Oled module.
Is the Nano 33 BLE also getting hot when you disconnect the Oled from it,
and again, which part is getting hot.
Do you power it with USB.
Leo..
Wrong.
Without seeing EXACT YOUR schematic ( not somebody's one found in the net) we will not able to help you. If you not intend to help us to help you - you should to solve your issue yourself.
The OLED is getting really hot and yes i do power it with USB
I'm telling you that I connected the VCC to 3.3V, GND to GND, DIN to D2, CLK to D3,
CS to D4, DC to D5, and RST to D6
Hi @zm476
If it gets as hot as you say, there's no need to find out if you connected it right or wrong, the OLED is gone anyway. It won't heal it self, and there's no saving in repairing the dispaly either. Just get a replacement, and check carefully that it's wired the right way. Maybe do a search on the internet for arduino, and the display model nr if there's any guides / other users experience / etc, so you can build knowledge.
Hope it'll work out for you.
